The Larabar Canada website provided a great opportunity to work with bright, fun colors, and really showcase the brand design. The site was built using our team's custom Wordpress theme, which uses Advanced Custom Fields, and custom PHP to create a simple, intuitive authoring experience. One of the challenges with this project was supporting both English and Canadian languages. To support both languages I created the site as a Wordpress multisite. This allows for cohesive design and experience on both languages of the website, with the added benefit that content can be authored in each instance. Another requirement of this project was having a two tier navigation menu to showcase the different product categories. This involved creating a custom wp_nav_menu that was still accessible and functioned with the default menu authoring. I was happy with the end result of this website, and I enjoyed eating Larabars in the process of building it.
